Children's Festival

Galloway Children's Festival takes place on Sunday 4th July and Solway Books will be taking part by holding story telling sessions for the under sixes in our children's section of the shop. The sessions are free and we hope to see lots of little ones and their parents in the morning.
In the afternoon we have something to interest older children in the shape of a Warhammer demonstration. If you've always been interested in the table top battle game but never quite got to grips with what's going on, then here's your chance to see a game explained. Regular gamers and collectors will be on hand to answer questions and give demonstration battles in both fantasy and 40k. Don't forget to pick up a copy of our regular newsletter, the solwarrior.
