Solway In Top 50 Uk Bookshops

Staff at Solway Books are celebrating the inclusion of the store in The Independent's guide to the top 50 bookshops in the UK. Director Keith Chadband is delighted that his shop has been included in the list. "Of course we know from our customers how much they appreciate the fact that Kirkcudbright still has an independent book shop but it's great to know that we feature in a national top 50."

The list was selected by judges from the publishing industry including novelist Glenn Patterson, The Bookseller deputy editor Philip Jones and Boyd Tonkin, Literary Editor of The Independent.
